Description
The Larocque School project is part of a major renovation project for an existing building from the 1960s, including architectural, structural and civil interventions. As for electromechanical installations, a new fresh air system with cassette recovery has been installed with new ventilation ducts. A variable refrigerant flow heat pump system, coupled with 8 geothermal wells, is used to heat and cool the entire building during the school year. This project will have reduced building energy consumption by around 60% and eliminated
GHG production completely while improving the quality of the building air and the thermal comfort of the occupants.
